In a continuing effort to recruit qualified education personnel for Maryland public schools, the Maryland State Department of Education's Division of Special Education/Early Intervention Services applied for and was selected to participate in a new initiative through the new federally-funded National Center for Special Education Personnel and Related Service Providers (Personnel Center) at the National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE).

Through this initiative the Personnel Center is offering an array of services that will assist Maryland in building capacity for personnel development. One of the services being offered is the opportunity for up to twenty local school systems and public and private agencies to receive a special education membership to the Teachers-Teachers.com online recruitment service for administrators, teachers and other related service providers.

This free membership will enable recruiters to:

• Post an unlimited number of positions for special educators, early intervention and related service providers
• Conduct customized searches based on residency and licensure areas
• Send targeted emails to candidates
• Track preferred candidates using an online prospect list

In order to take advantage of this opportunity the person charged with recruiting personnel for your school district will need to register with the service. Within two days of completing the registration process, you will be contacted by our Maryland Recruitment Team.
